Upcoming 4-H Workshops for Youth

In Person Programs:

• Grab and Go 4-H Kit Pickup– December 11, 2021 10:00-12:00 at the Fluvanna County Library. Swing by and pick up several educational kits for youth to work with. The library will also be handing out kits for all ages on Saturday.
• Make, Bake, and Take Workshop– December 22, 2021. Fluvanna Community Center 12:00-5:00 pm. Make baked goods, decorate ornaments or wall hangings and take them home to spread holiday cheer.  No charge to attend. Register by December 20.

• Winter Break Workshops– December 27-30, 2021. Fluvanna County Library Cloverbuds (5-8) 10:00-11:00 am, Juniors (9-13) 1:00-2:00 pm. Choose Health, Geocaching (9-13 yrs only), Crafts, Drones (9-13 yrs only) and more. No charge to attend. Register by December 23.

• 4-H Camp -June 27-July 1, 2022. Youth ages 9-13   Registration Opens January 3, 2022. Unplug and get your child outside for a week of fun the way camping was meant to be.  Canoeing, Swimming, Archery, and more. 
• Teen Opportunities: 
  • Teen Healthy Living Summit– January 28-30, 2022.  NOVA 4-H Educational Center, Front Royal, VA  $50 fee to attend. (Funds available for 4 Fluvanna teens to attend at no cost. We are working on transportation arrangements.) The Virginia Healthy Living summit brings together teens from across the state to focus on learning opportunities centered around topics on nutrition education, physical fitness, wellness and emotional well-being. Register by January 10, 2022.
  • 4-H Camp Teen Leaders Needed:  Teens are needed to assist with 4-H Junior Camp June 27-July 1, 2022.  Applications are open now and due by January 3, 2022.
